Jono was born and raised in Pinedale, just over the bridge from Pinedale Community Church. He earned a B.A. in Religion as well as an M.A. from the University of Chicago Divinity school.
He moved back to Pinedale in 2015 after teaching with his wife in Baltimore, MD. And, after working construction for several years and teaching high school here in Pinedale for several more, he became the full-time pastor at Pinedale Community Church in 2023.
His roots in the area go back four generations, and he loves spending his time camping at lakes around Pinedale and hiking in the deserts and mountains of the county. And, when it's too cold for such activities--which is most of the time--he keeps warm by thinking about them.
But, the pride and joy of his life is his wife and the young family he's been blessed with.
